Library Use

USE OF THE MEDIA CENTER

  • Students may use the center before school, at lunch, and during class

  • Library information is posted on the door.

  • Students may check out 2 books per visit.

  • Six computers are available for student use to include research, school projects, test preparation and card catalog search

  • A printer is available for student use.

  • Students may utilize the art supplies in the project section of the library.

  • A game section has been added to the library inventory. During spare time, students may put puzzles together, compete at Jenga, complete word search puzzles, or solve a Rubik's Cube. Groups might also play a variety of board games such as Monopoly, Life, Battleship, or Scrabble.

  • Classroom sets of Chromebooks are checked out to teachers at the beginning of the year/term. With permission from either administration or a teacher, a student may check out a Chromebook for finishing classwork at home. 

  • Textbooks are checked out through the library. Some teachers prefer classroom sets, while others prefer that students check out and return their own.

  • The library facilities are often reserved for meetings and presentations.
